What happened
During an approach to Lausanne-Blécherette Airport, the pilot faced an unforeseen operational situation that necessitated an immediate emergency response. Unable to continue the normal landing procedure, the crew was forced to divert and attempt a controlled crash landing in a nearby agricultural area.
The aircraft impacted the ground in a field located in Cossonay, situated approximately 10 kilometers northwest of the intended airport. The force of the impact caused extensive structural damage, rendering the airframe beyond repair. Despite the severity of the accident, the pilot emerged from the wreckage without sustaining any injuries.
