What happened
Shortly after departing from Guatemala City-La Aurora Airport, a twin engine airplane lost control during its flight. The incident occurred approximately ten minutes into the journey while the aircraft was traveling toward the Petén province. The plane went down in the area of Chuarrancho, situated roughly 25 km north of the departure airport.
All 11 occupants on board the aircraft perished in the accident. At the time of the crash, the specific circumstances surrounding the loss of control remain undetermined.
