What happened

Following the touchdown on runway 20L at Rio de Janeiro-Santos Dumont Airport, the aircraft failed to decelerate sufficiently before the end of the pavement. Given that the runway length is 1,320 metres, the aircraft ran out of available stopping distance and exited the runway area. The movement continued until the aircraft entered Guanabara Bay, where it eventually came to a stop.
