What happened
The incident occurred during the landing phase when the twin engine aircraft touched down on a runway described as very wet. Despite the touchdown, the aircraft was unable to decelerate sufficiently within the remaining available distance. Consequently, it overran the end of the runway and continued moving until it came to rest partially submerged in a bay located immediately past the runway threshold.
Upon impact with the water, the airframe sustained significant damage, rendering it beyond repair. Emergency procedures were initiated immediately following the overrun. All 14 occupants on board were evacuated quickly and safely from the damaged aircraft while it was still situated in the water.
