What happened

On the day of the accident, a four-engine aircraft departed from Tehran-Mehrabad Airport at 12:25 local time. The flight was being conducted as a local test flight. Approximately 35 minutes after takeoff, the flight crew contacted Air Traffic Control to report a critical emergency involving a double engine failure. During this period, the crew also reported that the aircraft had become difficult to manage due to a loss of control.

Following the loss of control, the aircraft impacted the ground in the Rudshur area, situated near the Shur River. The impact resulted in the deaths of all seven occupants on board the aircraft.
