What happened
A twin-engine aircraft was performing a series of flights starting from Paris-Le Bourget Airport. The initial leg of the journey departed Le Bourget at 11:45 local time, arriving at Roanne at 13:00 local time. Following this, the aircraft departed Roanne at 17:40 local time for a second flight destined for Montpellier.
During this subsequent flight, the aircraft lost control and descended into an open field in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert. The impact occurred approximately 65 km south-southeast of the Roanne Airport. Upon hitting the ground, the aircraft caught fire. There were six fatalities among the occupants of the aircraft, with no survivors reported.
Findings
The specific circumstances leading to the loss of control remain undetermined. The crash resulted in a post-impact fire that consumed the wreckage.
