What happened
During a nighttime operation, the pilot attempted to land the aircraft on a taxiway located in front of the control tower, despite the fact that the taxiway was not in service. During this maneuver, the aircraft type overran the edge of the taxiway, proceeded down an embankment, and collided with several trees.
Following the impact, the pilot sustained minor injuries. After the incident, the pilot engaged a passerby to provide transportation to a nearby hotel. After staying overnight, the pilot departed from the vicinity. Upon inspection of the wreckage, authorities discovered approximately 250 kilograms of cocaine inside the plane. Due to a recent change in ownership, investigators were unable to immediately identify the owner of the aircraft.
