What happened

During an unauthorized local flight, a single engine airplane struck overhead power lines before plunging into Lompad Lake. The incident occurred while the aircraft was performing a right turn toward the water. At an altitude of approximately 15 to 17 meters, the plane made contact with electrical cables, causing it to crash and subsequently sink beneath the surface of the lake.

There were three people on board at the time of the impact. The accident resulted in three fatalities.
