What happened
During a scheduled flight from Shoyna Airport to Arkhangelsk-Vaskovo Airport, a single-engine aircraft experienced a loss of control immediately following liftoff. As the plane ascended, it entered a right bank that caused the lower portion of the right wing to make contact with the terrain. This impact resulted in the separation of the right main landing gear.
Following the wing strike, the aircraft veered away from the runway and traveled into a nearby grassy field, where it eventually came to a stop. The flight was carrying a total of ten people, consisting of two pilots and eight passengers. While all occupants were successfully rescued from the wreckage, three individuals sustained minor injuries.
Findings
Preliminary observations suggest that the aircraft was subjected to strong crosswinds during the takeoff phase, which likely contributed to the wing strike and subsequent loss of directional control. The aircraft itself was determined to be a total loss due to the extent of the structural damage.
