What happened

On the day of the accident, a local flight was conducted by a pilot and a mechanic. During the flight, which was being operated at a low altitude, the single engine airplane encountered a stall condition. This caused the aircraft to strike the tops of trees before crashing into a forested region situated approximately 17 km northwest of Usinsk Airport.

The impact resulted in two fatalities, as both the pilot and the mechanic were killed in the crash.
