What happened
On a flight traveling from Godo Olo toward Paramaribo, a twin engine aircraft went down in a densely wooded area. The crash site was situated approximately 5 km northeast of Poeketi. Following the disappearance of the flight, search efforts located the wreckage several hours after the event occurred.
