What happened
During the final stages of its approach to Rushan Airport, the aircraft experienced a loss of altitude while on short final. The descent resulted in the aircraft impacting the ground approximately 40 meters before reaching the runway threshold. Following the impact, the aircraft came to a complete stop at the site of the undershoot.
Findings
There were no fatalities or injuries reported as a result of this incident. However, the impact caused extensive structural damage to the airframe, and the aircraft was subsequently declared a total loss, being considered beyond economical repair.
