What happened
A patrol flight consisting of two pilots and six passengers departed from Khandyga-Teply Klyuch Airport. During the mission, the aircraft experienced a loss of power due to an engine failure. In response to the mechanical issue, the crew attempted to navigate the plane back toward the departure airfield at Khandyga.
While attempting to return to the airport, the aircraft went down in a heavily wooded region. The impact caused the plane to catch fire upon hitting the ground. Despite the crash and the subsequent fire, all eight occupants were successfully pulled from the wreckage. Among the survivors, the pilot sustained injuries during the incident.
