Accident Details
A single-engine airplane departed Khandyga-Teply Klyuch Airport on a patrol mission with six passengers and two pilots on board. En route, the engine failed, prompting the crew to decide to return to Khandyga. However, they were eventually forced to attempt an emergency landing. The airplane crashed into a dense wooded area and burst into flames.
Rescue Efforts
All eight occupants were rescued from the wreckage. Among them, one pilot was injured. Emergency services responded to the scene.
