During an unsanctioned recreational flight intended for agricultural purposes, an aircraft was conducting crop-spraying activities for the Kalinina collective farm in the Kurdai district. While operating at a low altitude, the pilot executed unapproved maneuvers that led to a loss of control. The plane subsequently struck a field situated approximately 1,500 meters from the settlement of Otar.

All individuals on board, including the pilot and 6 passengers, perished in the accident. There were 7 fatalities in total.
