Accident Description
The crew was completing a crop spraying mission in the region of Qom when the accident occurred. While flying at low height, the single-engine aircraft collided with power lines and subsequently crashed. Both pilots sustained injuries, and the aircraft was destroyed in the impact.
Investigation Findings
Investigators determined that the area was unsuitable for aerial spraying operations. Numerous uncharted electrical lines running in close proximity to each other were present in the area. The presence of these unmarked power lines contributed to the collision.
