What happened
During a routine agricultural mission involving crop spraying, an aircraft experienced a sudden loss of power. While operating at an altitude of approximately 60 meters, the engine ceased functioning properly because of issues within the carburetor.
Following the mechanical failure, the aircraft entered a left bank and subsequently stalled. The descent ended when the plane struck a residential building situated in Selitrennoye. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft. While both members of the flight crew sustained injuries, there were no reported casualties or injuries among the residents on the ground.
Findings
- The primary factor in the accident was an engine failure triggered by carburetor malfunctions.
