Incident Overview
A crop-spraying aircraft on a mission for the "Zauralny" sovkhoz in the Kvarkeno district of the Orenburg region crashed into a hill located one kilometer southwest of Urtazym. The crew, described as inexperienced, became distracted from piloting by listening to a weather forecast on the radio and writing it down. As a result, the aircraft continuously lost height until it struck the terrain.
Injuries and Damage
The captain was killed in the accident, and the copilot sustained injuries. The aircraft was destroyed upon impact.

According to the investigation, the probable cause of the accident was the crew's distraction and inexperience. Additionally, the pilot failed to prepare the flight according to published procedures.
