What happened

During a scheduled local test flight following maintenance work, an aircraft crashed shortly after departing from Vinnitsa Airport. While the crew was attempting to climb to an altitude of 100 meters, the plane entered a left bank and descended into a field situated approximately 1,200 meters beyond the runway threshold.

The impact resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft. There were three fatalities among the occupants on board during the accident.

Findings

Investigations into the crash identified that the aileron control cables had been improperly installed by technicians from the Zavod No. 421 GA at the Vinnitsa maintenance facilities. Additionally, it was noted that a young girl was being transported on the flight without authorization.
