What happened
During a flight traveling from Podkamennaya Tunguska toward Yeniseysk, an aircraft experienced a loss of power in one of its engines while cruising at an altitude of 1,500 metres. In response to the engine failure, the crew initiated a descent to a lower altitude to attempt an emergency landing.
During the descent, the aircraft collided with trees and came to rest in a forested region situated near Yartsevo. The impact resulted in the aircraft being damaged beyond repair. Despite the severity of the crash, all 13 occupants were successfully rescued from the wreckage without reported fatalities.
