What happened
During a scheduled training mission, an aircraft departed from Rasht-Sardar Jangal Airport, bound for Tehran. While the flight was in progress, the aircraft encountered conditions of limited visibility. During this period, the plane became uncontrollable and descended into an open field situated in Kenarsar, approximately 15 kilometers east of the departure airport.
Upon hitting the ground, the aircraft suffered a complete disintegration. There were three fatalities among the occupants, with no survivors reported from the crew.
Findings
- The accident occurred during the flight phase in low-visibility conditions.
- The aircraft lost control prior to the impact in the Kenarsar region.
