What happened
A twin-engine aircraft departed from Buenos Aires-Aeroparque-Jorge Newbury Airport, bound for San Miguel de Tucumán. During the course of the flight, the pilot experienced mechanical issues that necessitated a change in plans. Air traffic control authorized a diversion to Paraná Airport to address the situation.
While descending toward the diversion airfield, the technical difficulties persisted, making a standard landing impossible. Consequently, the pilot attempted an emergency touchdown in a field situated in Irigoyen, approximately 7 km northeast of Paraná Airport. The impact resulted in the aircraft being damaged beyond repair.
Outcomes
Despite the severity of the crash, there were no fatalities among the passengers or crew. All four occupants were successfully rescued from the wreckage following the incident.
