Runway Excursion at Uruapan-General Ignacio López Rayón Airport (XA-HAO)

Incident Overview and Sequence of Events Following its landing at Uruapan-General Ignacio López Rayón Airport, the aircraft initiated its standard braking procedure. During this phase, the flight crew activated the reverse thrust systems. As these systems engaged, the crew lost control of the aircraft. The aircraft subsequently veered off the runway to the right. During the excursion, the aircraft lost a landing gear and eventually came to a stop. ## Casualties and Damage Assessment All 12 individuals on board the aircraft managed to escape without sustaining injuries. Despite the successful evacuation, the aircraft sustained significant structural damage. The extent of the damage was such that the aircraft was declared beyond repair.
