What happened
During the landing phase at Uruapan-General Ignacio López Rayón Airport, the aircraft completed its touchdown on the runway. As the crew initiated standard deceleration procedures, including the application of brakes and the deployment of reverse thrust, the aircraft experienced a loss of directional control.
Following this loss of control, the aircraft drifted toward the right side of the runway. During the excursion, the plane struck the ground with enough force to cause the separation of one landing gear. The aircraft eventually came to a complete stop off the paved surface.
Outcomes
- All 12 occupants on board successfully evacuated the aircraft.
- There were 0 fatalities and 0 injuries reported following the incident.
- The aircraft sustained damage that rendered it beyond repair.
