Introduction
On 31 August 2018, at approximately 10:34 UTC, a Cessna 680 aircraft with registration TC-OYD, operated by Boydak Air, was performing a relocation flight from Baku, Azerbaijan to Burgas, Bulgaria. While executing an RNAV approach to runway 04 at Burgas Airport, the aircraft veered to the right of the centerline during the rollout after touchdown. It exited the runway near taxiway C, struck a concrete block housing aeronautical equipment, and came to rest on the ground between the apron and the runway. The two flight crewmembers were not injured, but the aircraft sustained damage to the left nose portion of the fuselage and the left brace strut of the nose gear was broken.

The investigation commission determined the probable cause of the accident to be a technical failure of the nose wheel steering after touchdown, combined with errors by the flight crew during the landing roll: not deploying spoilers to maximum position, delayed engagement of reverse thrust on both engines, ineffective differential braking, and failure to execute the emergency procedure for nose wheel steering malfunction as prescribed in the Flight Crew Operating Manual.
