What happened
During the final approach and flare phase, the aircraft experienced instability characterized by a roll from the right side to the left. Upon making contact with runway 09/27, the aircraft was not correctly aligned with the center of the runway. This misalignment caused the plane to exit the runway surface to the right while traveling at a speed of 115 km/h.
As the aircraft continued its path off the paved surface, it traveled approximately 100 meters before striking a dike. Despite the impact, there were no injuries reported among the 17 occupants on board. The aircraft sustained damage that rendered it beyond repair.
Findings
- The aircraft was in an unstable state during the flare.
- The primary factor in the excursion was the improper alignment of the aircraft with the runway centerline during the landing roll.
