Adani Airport Holdings raises funds for six airport expansions

Adani Airport Holdings will raise 98.25 billion rupees in equity from investors including Alpha Wave Global, Premji Invest, Temasek, and BlackRock-managed funds to expand and modernize six Indian airports.

Adani Airport Holdings plans to raise 98.25 billion rupees (around 900 million euros) in fresh equity from investors. Participants include Alpha Wave Global, Premji Invest, Temasek, and funds managed by BlackRock. After three planned tranches through July 2027, these investors will hold about 5.54 percent of the Indian airport operator. The transaction values Adani Airport Holdings at around 18 billion dollars (about 15.5 billion euros) before the capital increase. The funds will go toward expansion and modernization at Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram airports. Annual capacity is expected to rise to around 200 million passengers.
