Aegean to start Athens–Damascus flights in December 2026
Aegean will begin direct Athens–Damascus service on 2 December 2026, operating up to four times weekly, and plans Libyan routes from May 2027.

Aegean will add Damascus to its Middle Eastern network with direct flights from Athens starting 2 December 2026. The Greek carrier plans up to four weekly frequencies in the winter season, departing Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
From May 2027 the airline also intends to serve Tripoli and Benghazi in Libya, subject to completing the necessary assessments and regulatory procedures.
Aegean will separately restart direct Athens–Dubai flights on 23 October 2026.
