Air Astana reviews youth sponsorship scheme as Fly Arystan prepares to join
Air Astana has marked three years of its Zhas Kyran programme for young Kazakh talents, which has provided free flights to international competitions. From 2027, low-cost subsidiary Fly Arystan is to take part.

Air Astana has reviewed the first three years of Zhas Kyran, its sponsorship programme for young Kazakh talents. The scheme began in 2023. According to the carrier, 124 young people from Kazakhstan have since received flight tickets to take part in international competitions, contests and olympiads, out of 364 applications.
Fly Arystan will join the programme from 2027 and provide flights on its own network.
Young people between the ages of seven and 18 may apply. Those selected receive a free return flight and a ticket for one accompanying person. Airport fees are not covered and must be paid by the participants themselves.
