Air Canada to drop Vancouver–Singapore, its longest route, in 2027
Air Canada will end its Vancouver–Singapore service on 24 January 2027, less than three years after launching it. The carrier has not given a reason for the cut.
Air Canada is removing its longest route from its schedule. The carrier will stop flying between Vancouver and Singapore as of 24 January 2027, according to a schedule change identified by AeroRoutes.
The airline introduced the service in April 2024 and operated it three to five times a week, mostly with the Boeing 787-9. At roughly 12,800 kilometres and a planned block time of up to 16 hours and 45 minutes, Vancouver–Singapore was the longest sector in Air Canada's network.
With the route gone, there will be no nonstop link between Canada and Singapore. Air Canada gave no reason for the cancellation in the report.
