Azul Conecta begins ferrying first Cessna Sky Courier to Brazil
Azul's regional subsidiary Azul Conecta has started flying its first Cessna 408 Sky Courier from Texas to Brazil, with a second example planned.
Azul Conecta has started ferrying its first Cessna 408 Sky Courier to Brazil. The aircraft, registered PS-ENE, left Fort Worth on 22 September and is flying by way of Fort Lauderdale and several intermediate stops in Central America, the Caribbean and South America. Its destination is Boa Vista, after which it continues to Belo Horizonte-Confins for registration.
The Sky Courier seats 19 passengers. It is the first twin-engine type in the fleet of the Azul subsidiary, which until now has mainly operated Cessna Grand Caravan and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.
To begin with, the airline plans to take delivery of two Sky Couriers. The type is to be used on regional routes and charter flights, among other duties.
