Air China does not plan regular Boeing 747 service on several Chinese domestic routes in the 2026/27 winter flight schedule, according to a report by the Aero Routes portal.

Boeing 747-400 flights between Beijing and Guangzhou and between Beijing and Shenzhen have been taken off the schedule. On the Beijing to Shanghai-Hongqiao link, no 747-8 operations are planned through the end of December, and no 747-400 flights through the end of January. Some individual flights with the four-engine aircraft remain possible on certain days.

Internationally, Air China continues to use the Boeing 747-8: three times a week to Frankfurt, five times to New York and twice a week to Washington. On the Frankfurt route, only one weekly flight is initially planned between 25 October and 8 November.
