Air France to expand La Première first class across more US routes
Air France plans to offer its La Première first class on additional US routes over the next 18 months and increase capacity on existing ones, according to chief executive Ben Smith.
Air France intends to extend its La Première first class to more routes to the United States within the next 18 months, group chief executive Ben Smith told the news agency Bloomberg. Boston was named as one of the new destinations.
Capacity on routes where the product already flies is also set to grow. On the New York-JFK route, the airline plans five daily flights with the new La Première cabin instead of four. It also intends to add capacity toward Los Angeles.
In New York, Air France is planning a lounge of more than 2,700 square metres at the new Terminal One for 2027. According to the airline, it would be its largest lounge outside France.
