Air India plans to add Osaka Kansai to its network with four nonstop flights a week from Delhi, starting 2 February 2027. According to the airline, it will be the only carrier serving the city pair once the service begins.

Boeing 787-8s will fly the route, with 18 business class seats and 241 in economy. Delhi departures are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 22:50, arriving in Osaka at 9:50 the next morning. Return legs leave on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 11:50 and land in Delhi at 18:20.
