Azul has ordered a new Embraer E190-E2 full-flight simulator from FlightSafety International, the Brazilian carrier said.

The device has Level D certification, the highest grade for such training equipment. Azul says it is due to arrive at the end of 2027 and will go into its training centre in Campinas, in the state of São Paulo.

The airline said the simulator will expand its training capacity and let pilot instruction keep pace with the growth of its Embraer E2 fleet.

Azul operates 50 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which it says is the largest E2 fleet in Brazil.
