Air India unveils in-house inflight entertainment platform Vista Digital

Air India has developed its own inflight entertainment platform, called Vista Digital, according to the airline. It will be introduced in phases starting in the second half of 2027 on selected newly delivered aircraft, and extended to other parts of the fleet later.

The platform connects the entertainment offering to the airline's app and website. Passengers will be able to resume a film at the same point on a later flight, preselect content, and reach travel information and selected booking and frequent flyer functions through the seat screen. Artificial intelligence will suggest content.

Wireless software updates are planned, as is booking travel offers through an interactive map.
