Air Tahiti takes delivery of all-business ATR 72-600
Air Tahiti has received an ATR 72-600 fitted with ATR's HighLine All-Business Class cabin, the second carrier to take the configuration. The aircraft is due to begin commercial flights in French Polynesia in December 2026.

Air Tahiti has taken delivery of an ATR 72-600 fitted with ATR's HighLine All-Business Class cabin. ATR said the airline is the second to receive the configuration, and that the aircraft will enter commercial service between the islands of French Polynesia on December 8, 2026.
The cabin has 26 seats in a 1-by-1 layout, so every passenger has direct aisle access. It also has private rows for couples, dedicated storage, and USB A+C charging ports at each seat.
According to ATR, the aircraft will support the launch of Air Tahiti Signature, a premium service linking Tahiti with French Polynesia destinations including Bora Bora and Raiatea-Tahaa. Air Tahiti plans to fly it on scheduled services and charter missions.
Air Tahiti chose the all-business interior for one of four ATR 72-600s it ordered, a selection ATR announced at the Paris Air Show in 2025. Chief executive Edouard Wong Fat said at the time that the airline was renewing its fleet and launching a new travel experience.
An ATR spokesperson said the 72-600, long used for regional connectivity, is now being used to create a more exclusive travel experience, with the flexibility to fly scheduled services and selected charters.
The delivery follows the entry into service of the first ATR 72-600 in the HighLine All-Business Class layout, with Malaysia Airlines, ATR said.
