American Express to open first Centurion Lounge in continental Europe at Amsterdam Schiphol

American Express will open a Centurion Lounge at Amsterdam Schiphol on 17 September. It is the first lounge under that brand in continental Europe. Worldwide, the number of Centurion Lounges rises to 33.

The design and offering draw on Dutch art, landscape and culture, according to the company. The space has floor-to-ceiling windows, its own coffee bar, a bar serving beer and cocktails, and a buffet with seasonal dishes. American Express said the site is also the first lounge of its own operated by a globally active credit card company at Amsterdam Schiphol.
