Avanti Air to operate new Klagenfurt–Skiathos charter route for Springer Reisen

Austrian tour operator Springer Reisen has announced a new charter route linking Klagenfurt with the Greek island of Skiathos, set to begin in late summer 2026. The flights will be operated by German charter airline Avanti Air.

According to the announcement, the route starts on 21 August 2026 and will run weekly on Fridays through the end of September. The seasonal timing extends beyond the typical peak summer travel period.

Springer Reisen said the route responds to demand for Mediterranean travel in the late-summer weeks, when many other charter programs have already wound down. The addition extends Klagenfurt airport's roster of Greek destinations beyond its main summer schedule.
