BermudAir to launch Newark–South Caicos route in December
BermudAir will begin flying between Newark and South Caicos in Turks and Caicos starting December 20, expanding its Caribbean network.
BermudAir has announced a new route linking the New York metropolitan area with the Caribbean. The airline said service between Newark, New Jersey, and South Caicos in Turks and Caicos will start on December 20.
Flights will operate into Norman B. Saunders Sr. International Airport, previously known as South Caicos Airport. The carrier has not disclosed how often the route will run.
The new service adds to BermudAir's existing Caribbean network. The airline already connects Newark and other cities along the East Coast to Providenciales, also in Turks and Caicos, along with Bermuda and Anguilla. It additionally serves Belize, Guatemala City, and the Cayman Islands from its U.S. gateways.
No further details on pricing, aircraft assignment, or expected demand for the new route were provided by the airline.
