Braathens invests another SEK 100 million in BRA as last-chance funding

Swedish aviation entrepreneur Per G. Braathens has injected a further SEK 100 million (€9.2 million) into Braathens Regional Airlines, which operates as BRA, calling it the final opportunity to make the carrier sustainably profitable.

Per G. Braathens has provided another 100 million Swedish kronor, about 9.2 million euros, to Braathens Regional Airlines, known as BRA, according to Travelnews Nordic. This is the airline's third restructuring process in five years.

Braathens called the new funding the last chance to put BRA on a permanently profitable footing. If this attempt fails to establish a viable economic basis, he does not see another way to continue under the current conditions.
