Royal Air Plans Comoros–Mayotte Flights from December 2026
Comorian carrier Royal Air intends to launch flights to Mayotte on 15 December 2026, subject to French regulatory approval.

Royal Air will begin flying from the Comoros to Mayotte on 15 December 2026, the airline said. The route to the French island has been planned since the carrier was founded in 2024, according to broadcaster TF1.
Royal Air currently links the three Comoros islands and flies weekly to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Since August it has also served Mahajanga in Madagascar. Antananarivo is expected to be added after the airline takes delivery of an ATR 72.
The Mayotte flights still need approval from French aviation authorities.
