Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of its 15th Airbus A330neo. The Philippine carrier says it is now the biggest operator of the variant in Asia.
The aircraft flew from Airbus' Toulouse facility to Manila on October 10, 2026. It is the airline's fourth delivery this year, and its first widebody of 2026.
Seven new-engine aircraft are due to join the fleet during the year; this handover is the fourth of them. Neo aircraft now make up 78% of the carrier's jet fleet, and Cebu Pacific aims to fly nothing but neo aircraft by 2030.
According to the airline, neo models use 15% to 20% less fuel on a given flight than earlier-generation aircraft. They are also noticeably quieter and produce lower carbon emissions.
Xander Lao, the airline's President and Chief Commercial Officer, called the delivery a significant step in its fleet renewal programme. He cited the fuel savings the A330neo offers over older aircraft and said the type gives the carrier room to serve markets both inside and beyond the Philippines.
The fleet numbers around 100 aircraft: 15 Airbus A330s, 27 A321s, 38 A320s and 20 ATR turboprops. Cebu Pacific says it runs one of the world's youngest fleets and the largest domestic network in the Philippines.
