Cirrus opens 60,000-sq-ft warehouse in Duluth to support growth

Cirrus Aircraft has opened a new warehousing centre in Duluth, Minnesota, consolidating satellite parts stores as output of its SR Series and Vision Jet grows.

Cirrus Aircraft opened a 60,000-square-foot warehousing centre in Duluth, Minnesota, on Thursday. The manufacturer said the site is part of an expansion meant to keep pace with growth in its SR Series and Vision Jet lines.

The centre will support parts storage, aircraft product development and aftermarket services, according to Cirrus. It brings several satellite warehouse locations together into one operation, which the company said will make receiving, storing, processing and distributing parts more efficient.

The opening follows an August expansion at Cirrus's Grand Forks, North Dakota, facility, which grew by 30,000 square feet. That plant builds components for the SR Series and Vision Jet and will also produce composites for the TRAC10 trainer, a clean-sheet design with deliveries planned in 2027.

Cirrus also has locations in the Greater Dallas area, Greater Phoenix, Greater Orlando in Florida, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Benton Harbor, Michigan.

Chief executive Zean Nielsen said the company is investing in infrastructure and capabilities as its fleet grows worldwide. The warehousing centre gives teams more capacity and efficiency, he said, while supporting production goals, continued innovation and the upgrades and accessories business.

Cirrus delivered 691 SR Series aircraft in 2025 and 106 Vision Jets, a record for the type, according to the company. That total made Cirrus the largest deliverer of general aviation aircraft, it said. The SR Series is described as the best-selling high-performance single-engine aircraft.
