Cologne/Bonn Airport renames two taxiways from October
Cologne/Bonn Airport is to rename two taxiways in stages, with temporary closures and possible discrepancies between charts and air traffic control designations during the transition.
Cologne/Bonn Airport is to rename two taxiways over the coming weeks, according to a German air navigation publication dated 1 October.
From 2 October, the section of taxiway B between runways 06 and 13R becomes P. Taxiway D follows on 26 November.
The work is phased, and individual taxiways will close temporarily while it is carried out. Charts and the names used by air traffic control may differ during the transition, the publication states. Pilots should follow the current information issued by air traffic control.
