Corendon to drop three UK airports from summer 2027 schedule

Corendon Airlines will shrink its UK offering for summer 2027, withdrawing from Birmingham, Newcastle and London Gatwick. Antalya services will remain only from Glasgow, Manchester and London Stansted, with two, three and three weekly flights respectively, according to the carrier.

The airline gave a difficult business year following the Iran conflict as one reason, along with geopolitical uncertainty, higher fuel costs and a change in demand. It is also ending several aircraft leasing agreements, which reduces its fleet.

Corendon said the cuts are meant to be temporary at first. In January it plans to review market conditions again and assess a possible return to Birmingham, Newcastle and Gatwick.
