DAT adds Qatar Airways as interline option on Linz-Frankfurt route
Passengers on DAT's subsidised Linz-Frankfurt service can now connect onto Qatar Airways flights in Frankfurt under a new interline agreement. Load factors on the route have so far been low.
DAT has started selling tickets that pair its Linz-Frankfurt flights with Qatar Airways services, under an interline agreement between the two carriers. Bookings for travel to and from Linz with both airlines have been available since the start of August, the airline confirmed.
For DAT passengers, the deal widens the connecting options available in Frankfurt. Until now, those flights could only be paired with services operated by the Lufthansa group, through a codeshare deal in place since May.
DAT has flown the state-subsidised Linz-Frankfurt route with an ATR 72 since the end of March 2026. Uptake was modest in the early months. The reported figures put the load factor at around 27 percent in April, 30 percent in May, 35 percent in June and 30 percent in July.
