Dresden airport and EFW to jointly assess infrastructure needs
Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG will support Elbe Flugzeugwerke's growth plans at Dresden, with both sides agreeing to identify future infrastructure requirements together.

Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG has agreed to support Elbe Flugzeugwerke's (EFW) growth plans at its Dresden site. The two companies will jointly determine what infrastructure the aircraft maintenance and conversion specialist will need in future, and take possible changes at the airport into account early in their planning.
The focus is on additional parking positions for widebody aircraft, which EFW requires for its programmes. The airport group named the Airbus A380 and A330 among the types involved. The two partners also intend to increase coordination on military projects.
No concrete expansion projects, investment sums or timelines were given.
