EgyptAir to resume Cairo–Sydney service after 25 years

EgyptAir plans to launch flights from Cairo to Sydney via Singapore starting in early 2027 using Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

Airbus A350

EgyptAir will return to Sydney after a 25-year absence, with a new route from Cairo via Singapore planned to begin in early 2027. The service will be operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The airline has not yet confirmed whether tickets will be sold for the Singapore–Sydney sector alone. Further details, including the exact start date and weekly frequency, remain undecided. EgyptAir's A350-900s have 30 business-class seats with direct aisle access and 310 economy seats.
