Embraer reports record third-quarter deliveries of 66 aircraft

Embraer delivered 66 aircraft in the third quarter, a record for the period, with commercial shipments split evenly between E175s and E2-family jets.

Embraer delivered 66 aircraft in the third quarter, which the Brazilian manufacturer says is a record for that period. Deliveries rose six percent compared with the same quarter a year earlier.

Across the first nine months of the year the manufacturer handed over 175 aircraft, 14 percent more than in the same stretch of the previous year.

Commercial aircraft accounted for 22 of the third-quarter deliveries: eleven E175s and eleven jets from the E2 family. The remaining aircraft were 41 business jets, one KC-390 Millennium and two A-29 Super Tucanos.

Embraer continues to expect 80 to 85 commercial aircraft deliveries and 160 to 170 business jets over the full year.
