Emirates marks 15 years of Geneva flights

Emirates is marking 15 years of flying between Geneva and Dubai. The route began in June 2011, the carrier says.

Since then it has carried more than 3.4 million passengers and 179,925 tonnes of cargo on 15,588 flights to and from Geneva, according to the airline. Watches, jewellery and pharmaceuticals are among the main goods moved.

Emirates flies two daily services between Geneva and Dubai, using a Boeing 777 configured in four classes.
