EU sustainable aviation fuel supply passes first ReFuelEU target for 2025

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency reports that sustainable aviation fuel supplied at EU airports exceeded the bloc's first mandatory ReFuelEU Aviation target in 2025.

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency has published the 2026 ReFuelEU Aviation Annual Technical Report. It says sustainable aviation fuel supply in the EU passed the first mandatory target under the ReFuelEU Aviation rules in 2025.

The report covers the first year the ReFuelEU Aviation targets applied. Aviation fuel suppliers reported supplying 39.3 million tonnes of aviation fuel at Union airports.
